Transformational Coaching 4-Day Course is a course series based on Constant Hine’s new book: Transformational Coaching for Early Childhood Educators from RedLeaf Press. This course introduces Horizons In Learning’s GROOMER Framework for Change™ coaching model and the seven components that foster continuous quality improvement (CQI) and ‘sticky’ change.
The course:
  • will deepen and strengthen intentional practice based coaching.
  • provides a systematic approach and a mental model for coaches to foster sustainable change in intentional practices, mindset and habits in early childhood professionals.
  • includes and provides adult learning principles and practices, deepens coaching competencies, and facilitates conscious reflective practices.
  • helps coaches to differentiate specific professional development strategies and when to effectively use each strategy to achieve desired outcomes and goals.
  • includes and provides specific barrier busting strategies for how to overcome challenges individuals commonly face when implementing new practices, modifying unsuccessful habits, and achieving goals.
  • provides practical universal and targeted coaching strategies to facilitate and empower learners to change, solve their own problems and become responsible for their own professional development, which is what ultimately fosters sustainable change.
  • teaches coaches how to accompany and facilitate the learner with the daily implementation, experimentation and refinement necessary to successfully achieve desired results, and expand intentional practices.
To meet the requirement for the Colorado Coaching Credential participants must attend all four days. A certificate of attendance will be provided upon completion.
