Alliance for Kids offers two annual Emergency Procedures Supplemental Toolkit Workshops which include the “Surviving an Active Shooter Training-Run, Hide, Fight.” Each participant receives an “Emergency Preparedness Toolkit” which includes different templates for emergency operation planning that you can share with your families. The trainer is Lynn Garst, Pediatric Disaster Coordinator for the Colorado Health Department.
AFK’s goal is to equip child care providers to be prepared for emergencies before an they occur.
