Alliance for Kids offers two annual Emergency Procedures Supplemental Toolkit Workshops which include the “Surviving an Active Shooter Training-Run, Hide, Fight.”
After the October training, the next opportunity will be on March 5, 2020. Each participant receives an “Emergency Preparedness Toolkit” which includes different templates for emergency operation planning that you can share with your families. The trainer is Lynn Garst, Pediatric Disaster Coordinator for the Colorado Health Department.
AFK’s goal is to help equip child care providers for emergencies before they occur.
