Joint Initiatives for Youth & Families and Teller County Collaborative Management Program have partnered to offer a FREE Adverse Childhood Experiences online training for the community on November 5th from 1-3 p.m.

ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) can impact children’s’ health and well-being. They can have long-term effects on adult health and wellness. Their consequences can affect families, communities, and systems.

This webinar will help you understand and recognize ACEs. Get the insights you need to create healthier, happier childhoods for kids today and bring better futures for adults tomorrow. Learn about risk and protective factors for ACEs, their outcomes, and strategies you can use to reduce childhood adversity. This is an introductory training for EVERYONE, parents and professionals alike. All registrants will receive a certificate upon completion of the webinar.
