Childhood experiences, both positive and negative, have lifelong impacts and influence health and well-being later in life. Learn about the Adverse Childhood Experiences Study (ACEs) that started the movement toward understanding the link between what happens early in life and later outcomes.

Training Schedule:

  • January 18: An introduction of the concept of ACEs: “It’s not what’s wrong with you, it’s what happened to you. “Foundational Trauma/ACE education”
  • January 20: Everyday Work Effects of stress both personal and professional.
  • January 25: Thriving in the Face of Working with Challenging Behaviors.
  • January 27: Wrap-up: Trauma-informed approach: What the past and current conditions such as COVID mean in the classroom.
Expect to receive an email from Peaceful Households from Kathy Orr 719-351-0893 2-4 days before the event containing training handouts and Zoom link. 

Expect to receive an email from JI/Alliance for Kids with the certificate of completion up to one month after the training.
