Joint Initiatives Launches NEW Website!

Joint Initiatives for Youth + Families (JI) is excited to launch its newly designed website! Alliance for Kids, El Paso County’s Early Childhood Council, is housed under the Foundations program of JI.

JI’s recent rebranding project comes to life on the website, incorporating the new JI logo, colors, and program logos for Foundations, Voices, and Pathways. It’s also a reflection of all JI has accomplished – from restructuring and the growth of our staff to the development and implementation of our Racial Equity Action Plan.

A few things you’ll find on the website:

  • The Community Family Calendar features the option for community organizations to submit events relevant to children, youth, and families for review and posting.
  • Professional Development Calendar for early childhood professionals.
  • FAQs – FAQs are offered on each program page. All FAQs (general and program-specific) are linked on the Resources page.
  • Racial Equity Action Plan (REAP) is featured on the Our Work page and the Voices program page – plus, we’ve highlighted the REAP glossary of terms on the Resources page.
  • Careers – currently listed in the footer. This page also features a submission form for career opportunities and will be linked in additional locations soon.
  • There’s SO much more! Check it out!

Our goal has been to make this website an easy-to-navigate tool for our community of valued partners, as well as for families with children and youth. We would like to acknowledge the collaborative efforts of our JI staff and community partners – their input helped create the framework for the content. We would also like to recognize the efforts of Neon Pig Creative – their expertise helped bring our vision for this website to life.
