Apply today for the Early Childhood Health Outdoors (ECHO) SPACE to Learn Grant! Early care and education programs and family child care homes are invited to apply to receive mini-grants of $500 to make space for outdoor learning and space to help keep children safe. (Previous recipients of ECHO funding are not eligible to apply.)
Programs will receive two hours of technical assistance, an “Affordable Play Settings” training from the National Wildlife Federation as well as resources, guides, and support to improve outdoor spaces.
NEW Get Outside resources for child care providers and administrators from the National Wildlife Federation’s Early Childhood Health Outdoors (ECHO) program and North Carolina State University’s Natural Learning Initiative (NLI) are also available HERE.
