New in 2020, we are hosting a learning cohort for family child care providers to take a deep dive into best practice in outdoor learning environments.  Selected family child care providers will participate in the Early Childhood Outdoor Learning Environments online certificate program offered through North Carolina State University and receive additional resources, personalized design assistance, and ongoing program planning through in person meetings and web-based presentations. Selected family child care providers will also receive grant funds to implement changes to their outdoor spaces as learned in the online certificate program. The application to join the cohort is now available and will be due on May 1, 2020.
