3.12.20 UPDATE: RMECC will be offering virtual conference sessions, as well as other training opportunities to participants that were registered to attend the event. Some of the most popular presenters have agreed to do their sessions virtually on Zoom conferencing during time slots tomorrow, Friday March 13th and Saturday, March 14th. In addition, an FAQs document has been provided. For complete conference updates, visit: www.rmecconference.com.
RMECC Cancelled: After much deliberation and discussion with government, health, and community leaders, and hearing concerns from many of our attendees, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Rocky Mountain Early Childhood Conference due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
We will sincerely miss seeing all of you at the event, but we feel this is the best decision for everyone involved. The health of our early care and education providers, and the children and families they care for, are our highest priority. All of you are extremely important to the continued functioning of our communities, and we do not want to put anyone at unnecessary risk.
With only 2 days to go until the conference, most of the costs have been paid and are non-refundable; as a small non-profit organization, we unfortunately cannot offer refunds. We are requesting that presenters make session materials available on the app and are working with key partners to help you meet your professional development needs.
We appreciate your patience as we figure out next steps. We will send updates as they’re available and post information on our website: www.rmecconference.com
Thank you for your understanding,
The Rocky Mountain Early Childhood Conference
