Under the direction of the AFK Program Manager, this position provides direction and supports to the Quality Initiatives project including professional development, early learning and literacy, Colorado Child Care Assistance Program (CCCAP) and Colorado Shines Quality Improvement grants to meet the Strategic Plan, Scope of Work (SOW) and contract obligations to assure that the vision and mission of AFK and Joint Initiatives (JI) are effectively carried out. This position will develop and implement a business plan to successfully increase access and availability of early care and education programming for children and families receiving CCCAP subsidies, aligned with contract requirements. In addition, this position will work to ensure a more seamless transition between home and care settings for children and families receiving CCCAP subsidies under the guidance of DHS and comply with other JI instructions, policies, and guidance.
