The data, or indicators, are quantitative measures of the quality of community life. They reflect a combination of idealism (what we would like to measure) and pragmatism (what we are able to measure) in nine different categories, which reflect a comprehensive view of the community.

 

Professional Development

Alliance for Kids Office of Professional Development

 

Supporting Early Childhood Care and Education Professionals with higher education opportunities through college courses. With this initiative, the Alliance for Kids is able to facilitate the development of a qualified workforce of Child Care Professionals that have the knowledge and skills to work effectively with, and on behalf of El Paso County's children and families. In addition to financial assistance for Early Childhood Education college classes, this supportive program offers assistance for Early Childhood Education college classes, this supportive program offers assistance with applying to college, applying for financial aid, networking opportunities, referrals to resources and mentoring to be a successful college student and a quality Child Care Professional.
